In the summer of 2017, we teamed up with Performa Arts to help create several spaces, including their 2017 Hub in Chinatown.
The hub was designed by Markus Miessen for a collaboration with Volcom and Barbara Kruger. This collaboration included building bleachers and a set of red furniture for the cooperative space. Barbara Kruger merchandise was sold and displayed in the space, and events were hosted throughout. For more about the hub, click here.
We built a simple plywood set in the historic Harlem Parish church on 118th St. for William Kentridge’s sound performance, Ursonate. The last photo in the slideshow is a still from the performance.
